Meet Your Physio
Katarina - Physiotherapist / Director
Katarina graduated from the University of South Australia in 2011 and has worked
across the public, not-for-profit, and private sectors, building extensive clinical expertise and a strong foundation in patient-centred care.
After experiencing the benefits of Pilates during her own recovery from a low back injury, she completed her Diploma in Polestar Pilates Studio and Rehabilitation Method and opened The Pilates Room Adelaide in 2015. The studio evolved into The Room
ADL Pilates and, in 2025, into The Room ADL Pilates + Pelvic Physio, reflecting its growth and Katarina’s special interest in pelvic health for those assigned female at birth.
Katarina is passionate about pelvic health, helping clients with conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse, endometriosis, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, sexual pain, and providing antenatal and postpartum care. Katarina also works as a locum at The Bubble Tasmania, a specialist women’s health clinic in her hometown of Launceston and joined the Women’s Physiotherapy team at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2026.
In the studio, she combines her knowledge of movement and rehabilitation to help clients build strength, confidence, and long-term body awareness, and particularly loves guiding clients from pregnancy through to postnatal classes.
Outside work, she enjoys time with her husband and young daughter, getting outdoors, savouring good coffee, and catching up with friends.
